We want your judgement in the Translation Turing Test. The following three sets of documents contain the “paper trails”—the correspondence and deliverables—from the interactions between a client (a human named Brandon) and three different translation project managers (numbered anonymously PM1, PM2, and PM3). This was the scenario:

Brandon would like to translate an advertisement flyer for a full-body deodorant (a fictional Lume flyer) into French. He contacted three different translation project managers (PMs), not knowing their identities:

  • A highly experienced translation project manager 
  • An inexperienced high-school student trained for 2 weeks to perform the role of a PM 
  • A ChatGPT agent, prompted by an expert to simulate a project manager

Please study the paper trail from Brandon’s communications with each of the three PMs:
