Global Information

Description

Any information that applies to all elements represented in a file, as opposed to specific categories of information that may pertain to some, but not to all components of the file. 

Global information can include items such as the title of a file, the institution or individual originating the file, address information, copyright information, update information pertinent to the entire file, etc.
