is not an atom, indeed there is no such thing as a body so small
that it cannot be subdivided . . . It follows that there
is contained in every particle of the universe a world of infinite
creatures. . . There can be no determined number of things,
because no number could satisfy the need for an infinity of
impressions” (SFPL 277).
